other后接名词复数=others，比如other studends=others

the other和one是固定搭配，比如I have two bikes，one is black，the other is red。

another，意思是另外的，可以说，another two boys，另外的两个男孩，another three apples。另外的三个苹果

other +名词复数,others=other +名词复数，表示除去一部分剩下的，但不是剩下的全部,the other表示两个中另外的那个,常用于,one...the other...表示 ”一个...另一个...,the others=the other +名词复数,表示除去一部分，剩下的全部。

another与others, 相当于单数与复数，意思是所剩余的另一个或另一些（余数中的另一个或另一些），泛指。如：I don’t want this book. Please show another (book).
